Inama Soave Veneto Non-Certified Organic/Sustainable 2010
12% alcohol. Bright straw-green. Floral, high-pitched aromas of stone fruits and fresh herbs on the clean, enticing nose. Shows very good balance and energy to its flavors of lemon icing, green apple, pear and herbs. Richer on the palate than I expected, with lovely concentration and length; this is a very serious entry-level Soave and one of the best versions from Inama in years. Very well done.Stephen Tanzer's International Wine cellar
The wine is medium yellow in the glass with an enticing yellow water lily scent that, if you've never encountered it, is somewhat like lemon oil. Allspice, kiwi fruit, and lemon loaf come together on the palate with noteworthy viscosity and a medium finish. Somewhat warm with mild almond bitters. 88 points.
Note from tasting: bitter ["Assorted Whites" at Bin 105, Lincoln NE, 21 Apr 2012.]

Pale straw-yellow color with a green tinge. Herbal and minty aromas mingle with banana, underripe pineapple and pear. Light and fresh on entry, with a pleasant herbal nuance to the ripe citrus and pineapple flavors. Bright acids give this wine considerable clarity and cut. Quite persistent for what is a base-level Soave in name only, as this is at a quality level far superior to that of similarly priced wines.
The 2007 Soave Classico is quite pretty in this vintage. The wine reveals apricots, honey, flowers and almonds on a richly-textured frame. This is a fairly generous style of Soave that sacrifices a touch of aromatic complexity, but it is absolutely delicious all the same.
Shows mineral and sliced white peach character. Medium-bodied, with good fruit and a bright, fresh finish. Drink now.

Some creamy yeasty tones are supported by background notes of banana and apricot and give this Soave Classico a rich, generous mouthfeel. Pair this wine with pasta, eggplant sauce and mozzarella.
The 2005 Soave Classico Vin Soave is sweet and fat with an almost exotic quality to its up-front super-ripe apricot and peach flavors. It is a perfect introduction to the house style. Inama is another of the regionrsquo;s leading producers of Soave. The estate favors a richer expression of the wines, especially evident in the top selections of both Soave and Sauvignon.
Shows lavender and lemon character. Medium-bodied, with a crisp mineral finish and an intense lemon rind aftertaste. Drink now.
