Il Poggione Rosso di Montalcino DOC 2008
Had this at Pietra cucina. Good light bit still full flavor.
External Reviews for Il Poggione Rosso di Montalcino DOC
Intense ruby red color. Fruity bouquet with red berry notes. Very well structured, mellow, long-lasting flavour with smooth, velvety tannins.
A younger and more accessible version of Brunello, Il Poggione Rosso di Montalcino is made with carefully selected Sangiovese grapes handpicked from the youngest of estate vines that are at least 15 years old. A baby Brunello . Velvety and rich, with great structure and smooth, rounded tannins.
