The vineyards are located in three different subzones of Montalcino, thereby bringing to each bottle different aspects of Montalcino's renowned terroir. Agricoltura responsabile and precision viticulture in the vineyards mean low yields, healthy fruit and farming without the use of chemical pesticides.  Grapes are hand picked at harvest and the estate has been fermenting in wood since the 2011 vintage. All Brunellos spend over 40 months aging in large Slavonian oak barrels, and the wines are marked by distinct balance, elegance and austerity.    Read less

Fruit forward with prominent maraschino cherry. Spicy toasted aromas create a complex and intense bouquet. Silky soft wiht pleasant tannins. Lingering length and finish. Still extremely vibrant in 2009 tasting
