I heard this Barbera won double gold, so I had to try it and was not disappointed!! It's got rich ruby color and a perfect balance of fruit. Great with or without food. If you like Barbera, this one will be your new favorite.

The deep ruby color, abundant fruit, with balance tannins and acid award this Barbera with unlimited enjoyment from beginning to end. The aromas of read more...raspberry, strawberry, mint, & herbs with a sweet blackcurrant fruit entry that extends to the mid-palate with round and supple tannins and balanced acid linger and is an ideal tribute to food. The finish of herbs, white pepper with a hint of truffle is rich and long lasting. This wine continues to change and develop from the first to last taste. This wine is drinkable now, but best after August 2008. Ageable 4-5 years. (hide)
