- The 2004 Husic is another beautiful example of Celia Masyczek winemaking coming from the Jim Barbour maintained estate vineyards. Now in the 4th release, Husic joins the exquisite 2004 Masyczek-made Corra (VF 97), and Kelly Fleming (VF93 now in release. This site excels with the clone 7 and 337 planted in the eastern hills of Stags Leap District. The premiere release received a VF 96 and was a Top 20 wine of 2004. There is smooth black cherry, hints of brown spices, and ripe stone fruit in the nose. The palate is smooth, forwardly ripe and polished. Mocha and blackberry are sieved through the smoothly framed tannin.
