Hush Heath Balfour Brut Rosé 2010

Winemaker's Notes:

*Gold - Decanter World Wine Awards 2013 (2010 vintage)* Hush Heath is located near Tenterden in Kent, Hush Heath Estate and is home to 400 acres of woodland, a 500 year old Tudor house and some of the finest terroir outside Champagne for the holy trinity of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. In the glass, this sparkling rosé is a delicate wild salmon pink, with exceptionally fine bubbles and a prolonged mousse. The nose is clean with a subtle suggestion of brioche and summer fruits. Crisp, mouth-watering acidity with complex red berry fruit - redcurrant and strawberry - with hints of shortbread, cucumber and dried spice on the palate, which carry through to a refreshing, lingering finish.

The purchase of the Vineyard was the start of a journey that culminated with the formation of Heath Wines in 1998. Read less
