What to Expect

Also Known as Pinot Bianco in Italy and Weissburgunder in Germany, Pinot Blanc produces bright wines with a gentle fruit character. At their best they have a transparency that reveals a mineral note in the wine. They tend to have a rich mouthfeel yet remain well-balanced.

Reviews

Very youthful colour, lively and crystal-clear, with pale green and lemon yellow pastel hints. This image is faithfully reproduced on the nose, perfectly aromatic, frank, sincere, revealing a palette of fruit and floral nuances that can only be found in blend of Alsace grapes: green apple, pear, white peach, banana, pineapple, lychee, and a profusion of spring flowers, rose, freesia and a subtle touch of muscatel. On the palate it is dry, lively, joyfully crisp and clear, and exactly as it should be: refreshing and easy to enjoy. Its finish is fleeting but firm, and another sip is instinctively read more...

Perfectly clear, yellow with hints of green. Subtle aromas of citrus. Nice crisp wine. Good apple, pear flavors on palate with crisp dry finish. Very good value. This Alsace combines Pinot Gris, Riesling, Muscat, Gewurtztraminer

Very good gewurztraminer, with crisp apple notes and a sweet impression. It is pale straw in color, with apple and floral aromas. Not the most exciting gewurz, but solid and excellent value.

This wine, blended from a variety of grapes, has a pleasing spicy/floral quality, and is a great match for pâté or trout.
