Tasting notes: Beautiful in color with a hint of green on the edge, this wine needs a few more months to reveal its potential and will age gracefully another few years. The nose is developed and shows a hint of mineral flavor associated with good ripeness and acidity and a lingering clean and dry finish. It is ready to drink now but has the potential to age another five years. Food pairing: An ideal accompaniment to traditional Alsace-style dishes such as goose and pork. Riesling is one of very few wines to be able to match sushi or sushi-styled foods.

It is well-structured, juicy and almost luscious. A great wine that will age for 10 to 15 years, attaining the wonderfully mineral character of white truffle and gun flint that may surprise the neophyte, but which the connoisseur of great Rieslings will always look for after 5 to 10 years in bottle.
