Wine Spectator ReviewRated 95This melts in your mouth. Fresh, intense and simultaneously weightless, with truffle, spice, quince and apricot flavors mingling with the vibrant structure. It's seamless and fades gracefully on the long, lingering finish. Drink now through 2015.Wine Tasting NotesVery bright yellow straw gold. Still young, very concentrated, but fresh and aromatic, full, soft, complex, with aromas of acacia honey, quince preserve, brioche, licorice. Delicately smoky with the tiniest, most elegant whiff of Virginia tobacco. An attractive, delicate, supple wine, yet sweet and silky. It remains elegant and distinguished because the very high level of residual sweetness is perfectly balanced by ripe acidity. Exceptionally rich and concentrated, it is not at all heavy or cloying on the palate. In my opinion, for a dessert wine, such balance and harmony is truly extraordinary and extremely rare.
