House of Rose Old Vines Marechal Foch 2010

Member Review by zufrieden:

This maréchal Foch (Kuhlmann 188) is a holdover from an earlier day when French Hybrids ruled the day in Canada and New York State. However, this wine is a serious effort - inky and tooth-blackening with echos of sloes, plums, day-old coffee grinds on the palate with some acerbic notes on the typically short finish. A good example of the grape. Bronze Medal winner (Intervin). 85 points.
