House Band Merlot 2009
located in the Languedoc Roussillon, the vineyards come from the greatest part of this region which combines the advantages of the Mediterranean and Atlantic climates near the Pyrenean Mountains. As a result, the wines produced have the fruitiness given by the south-facing Mediterranean hills, and a good level of acidity due to the high altitude of the hills on the Atlantic side. This merlot is spicy, blackberry, mulberry, bramble bouquet. Full-bodied, supple and harmonious palate allied to ripe tannins.
RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.
