Hopwood Masters' Reserve 2004

Member Review by chriscage:

This has a huge purple tones with cranberry edges around the rim and although opaque, it has nice clarity. The aromas are port like in the fact that there are raisin qualities, plum, dark cherry, fortified alcohol etc....the flavors follow suit and I feel that it is dark, and of dried fruits....it really reminds me of an LBV. Very smooth mouthfeel, well hidden alcohol and ripe deep berries make this a rounded, age friendly red that I will seek out again!
