Add your reviewDry nose of fresh oak staves. Reserved fruit, but aromas of tar and ink. Hints of loamy earth and dried dark berry. On the palate, dark dried berries, anise, spice, cedar and loam. It's dark, brooding and rich. Very dry. Notes of espresso. Huge tannin on the finish. Also a great acid profile, so I think this is well suited for good aging potential. 92 pts. 7/14/12

Sweet, dark fruit spices, French oak and licorice are some of the notes that flow from this supple, inviting Cabernet Sauvignon. In 2009 the blend is 89% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Cabernet Franc and 3% Petit Verdot. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2016. (Dec 2011)
