Hogue Riesling 2010
External Review by Premium Wine & Spirits:
There is crisp and refreshing peach and light citrus flavors, with a touch of honey ion the finish. A summer afternoon drink-me-now kind of wine. The residual sugar is 1.86%.

THE HOGUE CELLARS™, founded in 1982 by Mike and Gary Hogue, is located in Eastern Washington's Columbia Valley, the premiere grape growing region of the state. The climate and soils of the Columbia Valley produce grapes with intense fruit flavors and high natural acidity. The wines have a liveliness and ripe, zesty fruit flavors that make them ideal complements to a wide range of food.

Soft and ripe, offering a nice range of apricot and spice flavors that linger crisply on the fresh finish. Drink now through 2001.

From the Pacific Northwest, this golden late-harvest Riesling has a slightly sweet, rich, spicy style, offset by just the right amount of acidity. Enjoy as an apéritif or with light desserts.

Round and easy-drinking, this pure varietal Riesling is centered on peach and apricot fruit flavors. It does not show a floral or mineral side, but does bring in some pleasing spice. Itrsquo;s very well balanced, classic Washington juice.

This sprightly white leads with fresh apricot flavors spritzed with citrus. It has an off-dry style that would serve a peach crecircpe.

This is Hoguersquo;s Red Label bottling, an off-dry table wine with slightly sugary flavors of sweet tea and oranges. A hint of a medicinal, vitamin pill flavor creeps into the finish.
