THE HOGUE CELLARS™, founded in 1982 by Mike and Gary Hogue, is located in Eastern Washington's Columbia Valley, the premiere grape growing region of the state. The climate and soils of the Columbia Valley produce grapes with intense fruit flavors and high natural acidity. The wines have a liveliness and ripe, zesty fruit flavors that make them ideal complements to a wide range of food.
Great because anything from Hogue is great for me
Nice aromas of apricot, melon, and a hint of rose petal. Flavors matched the aromas. Very pleasing, except on the finish, where a slightly bitter aftertaste remained.
Very fresh wine just harvested and bottled. Stone fruit and melon with good acidity. Drink now. I really liked this wine. Very approachable.

Light and crisp, with lemony pear flavors on a lively frame. Drink now.
This affordable, straightforward white wine is fresh and crisp, buoyed up with tart acids and flavors of citrus rind, pears, and green apples. It has a bit more concentration than its budget-priced Washington competitors, and the vibrant, clean fruit flavors match well with a wide variety of summer dishes.
Bright and lively, with zingy lemon, pear and almond flavors, finishing with a refreshing lilt.
Another fine effort in a continuing series of outstanding PGs from Hogue. This is tart and stylish, loaded with citrus and bracingly acidic. Flavors meld lemon, lime, lemon verbena, orange peel and a slice of pear.
Soft and fruity. A refreshing mouthful of grapefruit and melon flavors that linger nicely. Drink now.
Hogue is making a lot of Pinot Grigio, maybe the most in the state, done in a tart, high acid style with emphasis on fruit skin flavors - lemon zest, orange peel, pear skin and green apples. A fine food wine.
Friendly, fruity, likeable wines such as this may steal some of Oregon's thunder when it comes to affordable Pinot Gris. Fresh flavors of pear and apple are softly cushioned in a spicy wine with hints of citrus rind adding interest to the finish.
