Hobbs Viognier Barossa Range 2004

Winemaker's Notes:

This wine lacks any special designation or other info to make it clear that this is a ripasso-style dessert wine. The nose is floral and wild, and I would have guessed Muscat if tasted blind. On the palate this is surprisingly fresh and lively, as I was expecting something fairly cloying.

Pretty, fresh and slightly herby with some complexity. The palate is soft and sweet with a nice freshness and some peachy, herby elements.
