Hob Nob Wicked Red 2017

External Review by We Speak Wine:

CHARACTER: Celebrate Halloween with Wicked Red Limited Edition, a fruit forward red blend with rich flavors of blackberry and black cherry and hints of oak and mocha, leading to an eerily smooth finish. PAIRINGS: Barbeque, red meat, and dark chocolate WINEMAKING: Our blend of grapes were harvested at the optimal time in the Languedoc region in the South of France resulting in ripe and juicy fruit. The grapes were vinified traditionally with care and passion by skilled winemakers. After the initial maceration, malolactic fermentation took place to bring out the natural fruit character. A part of the wine was then oak aged to develop fine tannins and structure. VARIETALS: Cabernet Sauvignon – Merlot – Syrah – Grenache – Pinot Noir
