A refreshing sparkler, great for summer, a touch of sweetness reminds me of strawberries and cream.
This barely pink, dry, tiny bubbled-Pinot Noir sparkling Rose offers hints of ripe strawberry. Midway through the palate is the sensation of yeasty bread dough with a touch of granite, and a loooooooong finish. I bought this because my preferred sparkling Rose, Graham Beck 2006, was not immediately available. This substitute bottle filled the craving for bubbly. I did not find it compelling enough to become a regular in my cellar rotation, but would be a pleasant "wedding toast" wine.
