What to Expect

The classic Bordeaux blends rely on either Merlot or Cabernet Sauvignon for the bulk of the wine with additions of Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, and Malbec helping to add complexity, color, body and structure to the finished wine.

Winemakers Notes

Three core varietal components contribute to a deeply rich, full bodied blend with a great fruit profile and soft texture. Like the Merlot, this 2005 release was barrel aged for 26 months, each component separately, then blended right before bottling. The result 34% Cabernet Sauvignon, 33% Cabernet Franc, 33% Merlot each adding their varietal flair. Drink now through 2012.
