Intense and very citrussy on the nose with almost a hint of creaminess. This is spicy on the nose with some grass, passion fruit and a little guava exoticism. Fine tension on entry with citrussy, integrated acids, clarity from dryness and cut green fruit. Really very fine, delicate texture and acid zest with a hint of minerality that washes the finish. 90pts

Colour: Pale Straw.Aroma: Pungent aromas of gooseberry, freshly cut grass, nettle and hints of tropical fruit. There is underlying sweatiness backed up with minerality and fresh herb characters.Palate: Copious amounts of grapefruit adds to the complex fruitful palate. The wine is weighty and well balanced with a long elegant finish. - Winery
We found this Sauvignon Blanc to be a real treat. It's intense in all the right ways: great acidity, lovely ripeness, and rich in both texture and minerality. Also, unlike so many of its New Zealand counterparts, the aromatics are restrained, showing pretty citrus and herbal notes.
