Member Review by Middletucky:

Fruity, earthy, smooth, complex, lively, balanced. Really, really good. Amazing for the price.

Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Layered Rice Pudding

RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.

I was looking for a wine south of the equator and picked this one. Like the review from Sam's Wine said, this wine is "pure velvet", it is rich and smooth, defiantly a drink now wine. By the way only 10 dollars.

Great color. Completely opaque and beautiful. Scents of blackberry, cassis and mulberry on the nose and in the mouth before alluring spicier elements emerge: root spices, mineral and a subtle toasty oak note. The wine is rich and has a pure velvet texture. This wine is a blast to drink!
