This Shiraz, from a 45-year-old vineyard in McLaren Vale, bears the schoolboy nickname of its winemaker Dean Hewitson. It is a big, powerful wine, with deliciously concentrated black and red fruits, laced with some spice and chocolate. All seamlessly integrated into a well-structured and complex frame. The perfect treat for the lovers of a great Australian Shiraz. "Attractive black fruits and pepper spice. Rich and supple, Christmas pudding. Roasted coffee bean. Lively acidity.
