Hewitson Mourvedre Barossa Valley Baby Bush 2013

Winemaker's Notes:

94 points James Halliday (Australian Wine Companion): Dean Hewitson notes that the oldest Baby Bush vines are now 18yo, 'so not quite babies anymore'. This release included 15% whole bunches in the ferment. It hasn't hurt the wine's sense of self. It edges towards the impression of 'completeness'. Rakes of tannin, drives of acid, imposing fruit, leather and spice. Most impressive. A good option for the medium term cellar. Alcohol 14%. Drink by 2025. (10/1/15)
