Hess Select Cabernet Sauvignon 2012
Very full bodied. Great aroma. But a little bitter taste.
Two and a half glasses
Fruit-forward blackberry and plum with hints of chocolate. On the finish some pepper, and hints of smoke and tar. Medium bodied with moderate, fairly smooth finish.
A wonderful nose but the taste is not what you expect. It is well rounded especially when compared to other C.S. wines. The tannins are moderate but very tolerable. A decent wine worth trying if you're looking for something new.
Fruity nose, with a bit of rose on the nose as well. Tastes earthy, tannic, but a very dry, uninteresting finish. A little spice on the finish as well.

Smooth, rich and concentrated, a seamless effort, with ripe cherry, currant, anise and herbal notes that are well-focused and long and complex on the finish. Drink now through 2005.
Aromas of black cherry fruit and caramel on the nose. Concentrated fruit flavors dominate, with ripe fleshy plum, cherry, spice and a hint of dusty oak, ending with a soft, graceful finish.
Notably harmonious, supple and graceful, with ripe, fleshy plum, black cherry and raspberry fruit delivered in a full-bodied, easy-drinking style. Drink now.
Tasty, with an appealing structure and balanced acidity and tannins, plus soft black cherry fruit marked by nice spicy oak. Drink now through 2008.
