Hess Select Cabernet Sauvignon 2001

Winemaker's Notes:

A good value in California Cabernet, Hess Estate’s 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon offers an attractive, slightly herbaceous, cedary, black currant, smoky, earthy-scented bouquet, medium body, a supple texture, and a superficial seductiveness. While it does not possess great depth or blockbuster quantities of fruit and body, it is a well-made, elegant, delicious effort to enjoy over the next 3-4 years.
