Winemaker's Notes:

Another relatively cool vintage on the mountain offers the softer side of our Mount Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon, a vintage that combines classic mountain vigor with just a touch of agreeable elegance. On the nose, you'll welcome aromas of bright cherry and blackberry, with hints of vanilla, nutmeg and cedar from aging in new French oak. In your glass, enjoy a sweet entry with soft, supple tannins. Distinctive flavors of cherry paired with graham cracker crust are joined by notes of vanilla, cassis and rich, creamy caramel in a lingering, gentle finish. A bit unusual in contrast to other vintages, but decidedly delightful.
