Herzog Wine Cellars Kosher Special Reserve Edna Valley Pinot Noir 2006
This is a luscious wine with outstanding character due to the carefully selected Pinot Noir grapes grown in the cool Edna Valley appellation yielding a harmoniously uniform harvest. This Pinot Noir exhibits intense aromas of rose petals red berries and clove. This wine pairs magnificently with seared tuna grilled duck or veal. To retain its outstanding character only light filtration occurred and therefore may form some sediment as it ages.
At the gateway to the Central Coast wine region, Herzog Wine Cellars in Oxnard, California, is a testament to the Herzog family’s commitment to making great wine. The new winery, designed with our Special Reserve wines and small-lot winemaking in mind, combines state-of-the-art winemaking technology with a hands-on approach to artisanal winemaking. Also at the winery is Tierra Sur Restaurant, serving seasonal Mediterranean cuisine for both lunch and dinner.
