Herzog Cabernet Sauvignon 2006

External Review by Premier Wine & Spirits:

Here's an easy Cabernet. It's dry and medium-bodied, with black currant and cherry flavors and soft tannins. Finishes with the rich taste of cocoa.

It has a softness, dried black cherries and therersquo;s some chocolate and earthiness in the finish. The grapes are from Paso, and the Alexander and Napa Valleys.

Quite young and grapey, with soft tannins and hints of blackberry and herbs. A quaffer. Kosher. Drink now through 2002.

Bright crimson red color with a purple rim. Medium-bodied. Moderately extracted. Mildly tannic. Cassis, black fruits, currant, oak spice. Soft rounded berry fruit flavors unfold on the palate. A ripe fruity style with nice oak spice coming through on the finish.
