Hermitage Blanche. Domaine Jean-Louis Chave 2007
Winemaker's Notes:
This wine is a negociant project for JL Chave. 60% of the juice comes from Chave’s own vineyards and 40% he sources from people whose wines he drinks. It is roughly 80% Marsanne and 20% Roussane. The wine is waxy, with flavors of apricot and pear. It is aged for 12 months in old oak barrels and then blended into stainless vats and left to settle until bottling. Makers Notes
