Hermann J. Wiemer Riesling Finger Lakes Late Harvest 2006

Member Review by happyrobot:

Late harvest botrytised Riesling from the finger lakes. Sweet! Literally. 3.3% residual sugar (22.5% natural sugar at harvest) that overwhelms the acidity just a bit, but it is still a wonderful wine that pairs with a variety of dishes. Classic Riesling flavors with a tiny bit of petrol & botrytis. Lovely.

We found this lightly sweet with well balanced acidity. Great for use with desserts. Great floral notes on the nose with peach, lime and mineral flavors.
