A favorite for light meats and summertime salads. Crisp, light and fruity, with an off-dry finish, the wine is reminiscent of a halbtrocken Kabinett from Germany's Mosel.
This pleasantly fruity white shows typical Riesling flavors of peach, mineral and light herbs. It's full-bodied yet dry and well balanced.
From tank, the 2005 Riesling Dry looks set to be a winner. Smelling like a honey-laced Normandy cider, it comes onto the palate bright, sappy, and full of appley fruit. It is not the most complex of Rieslings (perhaps with some time?) but is utterly pure and lovely.
This generous Riesling exhibits a subtle cross section of tropical fruits, litchi, passion fruit and peach. The flavors are rich and abundant, ideal for a spicy larb gai. (Thai chicken salad).

Hermann Wiemer produces some of the finest New York state wines I have had the pleasure to encounter. Though labeled "Dry," this Riesling still retains a slight hint of sweetness - enough to highlight the flavors of peach, slate, and citrus, but not enough to turn off the average dry wine drinker. Served alongside blackened catfish or chicken and risotto, this was a big hit at my rehearsal dinner.
