Hermann J. Wiemer Pinot Noir Finger Lakes 2007
Very light fruity young Pinot. Nothing like its brethren from the West Coast, but absolutely PERFECT as a pairing a fish meal. The acid is quite prominent especially as it lingers in the mouth. Would buy for another fish dinner in a heart beat.
Stunning ruby red Pinot with rich black cherry notes. Maturation in oak barrels helped soften the tannins to provide a more delicate approach to the palate.
