I am admittedly unfamiliar with Portuguese wines, but found this blend to be tasty. Flavorful with strong hints of both raw grape and currant when first hitting the tongue, it very quickly introduces a moderate spice that lingers then fades through a long finish leaving only a mild sense of currant. The nose was not memorable.
