Henschke Abbott's Prayer(2001)

Abbotts Prayer is the rising star in the Henschke cellar. Whilst most of the plaudits are given to Hill of Grace, Mount Edelstone and Cyril Henschke Cabernet, Stephen and Prue have spared no effort in raising the quality level of Abbotts Prayer from the early young-vine, Lenswood vineyard days to a truly outstanding cuvée. Combines 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon – almost a Right Bank Bordeaux blend. Cassis, stone fruit and leather with forest floor nuances are supported by fine-grained tannins and structure. A beauty!
