- The fruit for this wine is 100% Padthaway Shiraz and the average age of the vines is approximately 8 years old. The wine was aged in American oak for 12 months prior to bottling. The yield of the vines was 3 tons per acre and only 2200 dozen were made. This smooth, mouth filling shiraz will leap out of the glass at you with its lifted mixed berry nose, and huge blackcurrant fruit and spice aromas. It abounds with rich fruit and distinctly regional minty Padthaway flavors, and lingers on your taste buds with its long velvety finish.
