Henri Milan la Carree Vin de France 2010

Member Review by duncan 906:

I bought this bottle of wine from the website www.cellartrade.co.uk for £17.Henri Milan operates in the Baux de Provence appellation but this wine is 100% roussanne and the AOC regulations require a blend of at least two grape varieties so therefore this cuvee is a 'Vin de France'. Roussanne is a late-ripening white grape named after its skin colour [reddish-brown] when ripe that originated in the Rhone valley.I started my bottle last night with my supper of fish cakes. It is a dry but not bone-dry wine. There is some pear, honey and peach style fruit. It went well with my fish-cakes
