Nice garnet color. Nose of berry and a touch of earth. It actually made my mouth water! Not a hint of heat. Tastes of black cherry, leather, and mineral, with a long finish of black pepper. Drinking VERY well! I'm glad I have another bottle in the cellar!

Winemaker's Notes:

2004 Helix Pomatia Columbia Valley Technical Information Vineyards Clifton Hill, Jones, Katherine Leone, Phinney Hill, Pleasant, Sundance Blend 45% Merlot 26% Cabernet Sauvignon 19% Syrah 10% Cabernet Franc Cooperage 50% American Oak, 45% French Oak, 4% Russion, 1% Eastern European (13% New, 87% Used) Bottled August 2006 pH 3.81 Total acidity 0.58 g/100ml Cases Produced 4,195 Tasting Notes Baby, somebody better call God because he's missing an angel. This bomb-shell of a wine will send you reeling with it's toasted cedar backbone and hearty cherry marmalade. With intensely flirtatious flavors of worcestershire and soy sauce, I wouldn't get caught alone with this voluptous wine. - Chuck Reininger, Winemaker
