Heitz Wine Cellars Chardonnay Napa Valley(2005)

While the winery is known more for its incredible Cabernets, don't overlook its Chardonnay. The 2005 Heitz Chardonnay Napa Valley has beautiful lemon and ripe pear aromas balanced nicely by the flinty, lively finish. The minimal oak in the traditional dry, crisp Chardonnay makes this an easy match with food. This is a California Wine.

Operating since the early 1960s, Heitz Cellar remains a family-owned and operated winery. Heitz has recently recreated their Chardonnay profile, by reducing the amount of new oak that the wine sees, and allowing its fresh acidity to shine through.
