Heitz Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 2007
The rich varietal aroma leads to delicious flavors of dark cherry with notes of spicy plum. A generous core of cabernet fruit is nicely integrated with refreshing acidity and just the right touch of oak. This wine is silky in texture, building momentum as it crosses the palate to a lovely, lingering finish.

External Reviews for Heitz Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley
This is a screaming good deal for Cabernet from the outstanding 2007 vintage from Heitz Cellars. This Cabernet has classic Cassis and mocha character with plush tannins and well integrated oak.
Great depth and complexity lurking under the rich, perfectly ripe fruit. Full of the kinds of fruit and herbal flavors that typifies cabernet sauvignon at its best--cassis, black cherry, hints of tobacco, minerals and vanilla, with smooth tannins leading to a very long finish.
