Lovely, perfumed nose with a pretty orange blossom note. Concentrated floral and stone-ish fruit, with a clean, dry finish.
External Reviews for Heidi Schröck Gelber Muskateller Rust
Winemaker Heidi Schröck is committed to reviving traditional wines of her Austro-Hungarian forefathers. Gelber Muskateller (AKA muscat à petits grains in French) is an aromatic noble grape, is still rare among Austrian plantings. This offering does not disappoint. Pure bee pollen, classic acacia, and sweet grape on nose and palate. Bone dry with a zesty citrus finish. From a vintage noted for cooler leaner character, serve with light cheeses, fruit salads / Asian dumplings or mango chicken.
