I chose to try a bottle of 80 proof Heaven Hill Old Style Bourbon. This was aged 3 years. I have been searching for the perfect "value" whiskey or whisky for quite some time, and at the ripe age of 36 I think I may have found my Shangri-La. This bourbon was exceptionally smooth and had a good flavor. Best of all-- less than $10 a fifth! I have tried many cheap whiskeys, including Old Crow, Ancient Age, Early Times, Virginia Gentlemen and Old Taylor's, and this drink was head and shoulders above any of these. It is charcoal filtered and was in my opinion on the level of Maker's Mark. I highly tout this beverage!

American Blended Whiskey still enjoyed throughout the country. Made from a careful blending of a number of constituent whiskeys. A great value!
"Elijah Craig Single Barrel 18-Year-Old has a buttery vanilla nose with some winey notes, a hint of caramel, and an aroma that can be described only as being reminiscent of Butterfingers candy bars; a medium body presents a dry, almost
Spicy nose and pallate. This is the best bourbon for the price on the market.
