Heartland Shiraz 2005
For the price, this a delicious, spicy, deep cherry-kirsch rendition of the Syrah grape in South Australia. I have tasted several bottles of this wine as it is a perennial favorite of several relatives. Good, deep red fruit and light oak on the nose with similar offerings on entry. Very smooth, with a long finish. Aged in the bottle for an additional 2.5 years, this wine shows the master craftsmanship of Ben Glaetzer. Well Done! You could conceivably keep this for another 2 years under good cellaring conditions.
WOW - Brilliant - Big & Fruity Reccomended by local Oddbins (£14.99) Benefits from opening early so it can breath
