Winemaker Ross Trimboli Varietal/Blend Shiraz Alcohol 14.9% Age of Vines 40 plus years Yield per acre 3 Tonne per acre Total Production 600 Dozen Wood Treatment American Oak 100%. 50% new. 50% second and third use. Tasting Notes Deep purple colour. Very complex blend of blackberry, blueberry and new leather aromas. The oak is fresh and toasty in perfect balance with the fruits of forest berry characters. The palate is strong in fl avour and long in structure with integration of the sweet vanillin oak being a feature of the wine. A very complex and robust wine – which in time will show its further greatness.
