Hazlitt 1852 Vineyards Pinot Gris Seneca Lake 2011

Winemaker's Notes:

"If you are looking for a change from Chardonnay, try this rich, dry wine with a slightly spicy character and pleasant fruit. An excellent companion for grilled salmon, or your holiday turkey." - Winery

Intriguing the palate with subtle tropical fruits flirts with your taste buds with complexity and understatement. - Winery

Light and fresh, with a spice hint to the honeysuckle, salted butter and white peach notes. A nice firm edge frames the finish. Drink now.

A gris in the grigio style, this winersquo;s high-toned aromas fall within the spectrum of peach and passionfruit. The flavor is more citrusy, the texture similar to classic Finger Lakes riesling, racy and brisk, with a talc-like acidity that would pair well with lemon risotto.
