Dark in structure with a sense of austerity and dark tannins this is a wine that will need time to develop. Theres a hint of tobacco and ripe plum on the palate and the aftertaste promises juiciness. Wine Enthusiast.

A prodigious blend of 55% Sauvignon Blanc and 45% Semillon the 2012 Haut-Brion blanc is the Montrachet of Bordeaux. Incredible notes of crushed rocks spring flowers lemon butter tangerine oil honeysuckle and candle wax soar from the glass of this full-bodied white. It totally hides any evidence of being aged in 100% new oak. Sadly there are fewer than 800 cases of this fabulous Pessac-Leognan. It should age well for a half century. Bravo! Offers the racy, taut edge of the vintage, but shows slightly better flesh than its La Chapelle counterpart. In the end, this offers a nice briary edge to its range of red and blue fruits, with a lively iron note on the finish. Tasted non-blind.-J.M. Wine Spectator. Lovely purple color. Fruity and fresh nose of a ripe type that also offers a honey characteristic. On the palate the wine appears dense and slightly rustic while it has some fat. The finish is of good length and marked by the wood at this time. Barrel ageing will tell more about it. Jean-Marc Quarin - www.quarin.com

52% merlot, 36% cabernet sauvignon, 10% cabernet franc, and 2% petit verdot. Alcohol of 14.4%. A very perfumed nose of spice, vanilla, red licorice, and blue fruits lead to a rich, balanced palate full of fresh fruit. Very taut at this stage, the tan... Cory Gowan. This is juicy and still compact, with a big core of plum sauce, pastis and graphite, followed by lots of kirsch and sweet spice on the finish. Still needs to unwind. Tasted non-blind. -J.M. Wine Spectator. A Bordeaux Blend wine from Bordeaux in France. 2010 Le Clarence de Haut Brion 6000ml
