Copper appearance with red highlights. Medium-bodied. Balanced acidity. Moderately extracted. Roasted nut and raisin aromas follow through on the palate, Well balanced.
Pale amber cast. Moderately light-bodied. Balanced acidity. Moderately extracted. Roasted nuts, caramel. Shows a touch of heat to the nose. Straightforward and flavorful with a lighter styled mouthfeel. Shows sweet caramel flavors through the finish.
The original cream sherry - a unique blend of classic old Oloroso wines, fine Amontillados, and high quality sweet wines. Bristol Cream tastes smoother and more complex than other Sherries due to the high quality and extra age of its components. Bristol Cream can be served chilled or on ice, or enjoyed as a dessert wine. It has a deep golden chestnut and amber color, with clean, fresh and tangy dried fruit aromas, fruity grape flavours and creamy velvet, smooth, mellow, woody nutty and earthy flavors and finish. - Winery
Winemaker's Notes:
"The original cream sherry, Harveys Bristol Cream's distinctive character is a result of the skilful blending of Jerez's finest sherry wines: delicate, dry Finos, nutty old Amontillados, fragrant Olorosos and rare, sweet Pedro Ximenez. Unchanged and unchallenged for over 200 years, Harvey's famous Bristol Cream remains the world's favourite Sherry." -Importer's Notes
