Fresh ruby color. Very reticent nose hints at flowers and dark berries. Youthfully tight and unevolved, but with excellent intensity and thickness; primary dark berry and violet flavors. Very strong tannic spine gives this a tough finish today. Complicating notes of iron and graphite on the aftertaste.
