Harney Lane Dry Rose 2011

Editorial Review by Gregory Dal Piaz:

Zinfandel, tempranillo and petite, Dry on the nose with red fruit that shows a slight baked edge and a nice bit of apricot lift. This has nice bright fruit on entry, a bit earthy a bit bronze, polished and supple with a little spice on the backend and a shadow of sweetness to the backend before showing mineral and a little white pepper spice on the modest finish, a little spicy black fruit, some strawberry tones, refreshing. 86pts

In time the family home was built, which would bear witness to the lives of five generations of grape growers intent on perfecting their farming skills. Our family philosophy: Whatever you choose to do in life, do it to the best of your ability. For generations, that's how we've treated farming, and now, that's how we develop our wines. Read less
