Harney Lane Albariño Lodi 2011

Editorial Review by Gregory Dal Piaz:

Dusty and sweetly fruited on the nose with a little tropical guava accenting the peach fruit. This shows a little early richness that is followed by nice acidity lending this some cut on the palate. Rich with lovely lemony fruit and a slight dusty astringency on the backend, this combines fine clarity on the palate with a measure of richness and good length. 88pts

In 1907, long before it was fashionable to go wine tasting, our ancestors planted their first vineyard just east of Lodi, along rural Harney Lane. In time the family home was built, which would bear witness to the lives of five generations of grape growers intent on perfecting their farming skills. Our family philosophy: Whatever you choose to do in life, do it to the best of your ability. For generations, that's how we've treated farming, and now, that's how we develop our wines. Read less
