Hardys Shiraz Bin 53 Special Release 2008

Member Review by Andrij:

As an 'everyday' bargain bottle of wine from the supermarket, this ticks all of the boxes for me. Smooth and bold, with the flavour clinging to the palatte better than you'd expect. I have to say that at £3.99, pound-for pound this 'lightweight' is my greatest wine discovery yet. And the 2009 vintage isn't half bad either...

Considering this was a cheap bottle of wine which came as part of a special meal for 2 deal from the supermarket, this is actually quite good. Smooth but very bold red fruit, what you would come to expect from cheaper Aussie Shiraz but this one didn't get boring after a glass and a half.
